This policy explains how Vikaranet (Pty) Ltd (“Vikaranet”, “we”) handles information in the Free Daily Life Planner app for Android.
What the app does
Free Daily Life Planner helps you manage to-do items, goals and habits, and shows them on a weekly and monthly calendar.
Information the app handles
- Entries you make: tasks, goals, habits, reminders and calendar items.
- Advertising data: the app shows ads served by Google AdMob. AdMob may collect your device’s advertising ID, IP address, device and app information, and how you interact with ads, to show and measure ads and prevent fraud.
What we do not do
- The app does not require an account.
- We do not sell your task, goal or habit data.
How we use information
We use the information above only to make the app work, to provide purchases and subscriptions you ask for, to respond to your support requests, and to keep the app secure and working properly.
Third parties
- Google AdMob serves ads. See how Google uses data from apps that use its services. You can reset your advertising ID or opt out of ad personalisation in your Android settings (Settings > Privacy > Ads).
Google Play may also give us aggregated information about crashes and performance so we can fix problems. We do not sell personal information and we do not share it for marketing.
Where your data is stored and how we protect it
Your tasks, goals and habits are stored on your device. We do not receive a copy of them. We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect information we handle, but no system is completely secure.
Children
This app is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has given us personal information, contact us at [email protected] and we will delete it.
Your rights and deleting your data
You can ask us to tell you what we hold about you, correct it, or delete it. Data stored only on your device can be deleted by clearing the app’s data or uninstalling the app. To make a request about anything we hold, email [email protected] and we will respond within a reasonable time. We handle personal information in line with applicable Botswana data protection law.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The effective date at the top shows the latest version. If we make a material change, we will update this page and, where appropriate, tell you in the app.
